Keep in mind that teleporting inside the city may limit your exit options; instead, start from the stables and closely follow the city walls until you spot Shady Sam. He’s identifiable by his black robe, and interacting with him allows you to access his shop and buy his illicit goods, which include Lockpicks.
In this setting, a character deals daily with a merchant who offers 30 lockpicks. To start fresh and continue the transaction, you have the options of sleeping or waiting for the time indicated on your map before returning to him. Alongside the lockpicks, he also stocks an array of helpful potions that boost various attributes in the game such as health and attack. You can negotiate prices by pressing R, which may allow you to purchase or sell items at a reduced cost if your offers are reasonable.
