In the realm of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, it’s the Future Foundation that has joined forces with Marvel Comics for this particular comic book installment. On the Earth depicted here, this story unfolds four years after Reed Richards (portrayed by Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) had a space adventure, were struck by cosmic rays, and acquired the abilities that transformed them into Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and The Human Torch respectively. As a film enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly anticipating “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” and while it’s been clarified that this reboot won’t delve into their origin story, the first trailer hinted at the events leading up to Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny’s space voyage. For those craving insights into their first superhero escapade, grabbing issue #1 of “Fantastic Four: First Steps” is a must-have.
