Elaborating on the topic, the actress from Gangubai Kathiawadi explained that occasionally filmmakers approach her for actor training sessions, but she always declines such offers.

In response to being queried about the choice, she explained that it’s more advantageous to employ trained actors rather than educating untrained ones, as she put it, “It makes more sense to provide opportunities for those who are already skilled. What unique contributions can these inexperienced actors offer to cinema? It seems unnecessary to spend that money and resources on their training.” This senior actress posed the question.

In that very conversation, she mentioned that numerous skilled actors resort to menial jobs because of a scarcity of work, even though they’re burdened financially and emotionally. She explained that these artists feel a sense of guilt but their artistic spirit remains undiminished. Strikingly, she stated, “To be frank, our field isn’t about creativity anymore; it has become a business.

Seema pointed out that while there are many actors who have graduated from renowned drama schools, they struggle to find roles in films. She even knew of one individual who was both a theater artist and an acting school graduate, but had to abandon acting and move away due to the scarcity of opportunities.
