The Family Man Season 3 actor Rohit Basfore was found dead in Guwahati; know what happened to him

Actor Rohit Basfore, initially scheduled to feature in Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming web series The Family Man 3, was found deceased near a waterfall within the Garbhanga forest of Assam on April 27 (Sunday). Authorities verified that his body displayed numerous signs of trauma.

According to information from Odisha Bytes, it was disclosed that Rohit recently returned to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months back. His relatives stated that he departed home approximately at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday for a day trip with friends; however, they struggled to contact him later in the day.

Afterward, a friend shared details about the event with the family. Subsequently, they contacted the State Emergency Rescue Team (SERT) who retrieved Rohit’s body and transported it to a medical facility.

Based on accounts, the family claims that Rohit was fatally attacked by four acquaintances. They emphasize that this incident appears to have been premeditated, hinting at a recent parking disagreement where three of the accused supposedly threatened to harm him. The individuals implicated in these accusations are Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore.

Moreover, it was Amardeep, the gym owner, that the family claimed extended an invitation to Rohit for the outing which they mentioned.

A post-mortem examination was carried out at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Various injuries were found on the deceased, such as marks on his head, face, and other areas. The case is currently under investigation, however, the four suspects have fled. This information was reported by Odisha Bytes, according to a police spokesperson.
