The 2025 Tribeca Festival plans to honor the 30-year milestone of “Casino” and the 25-year anniversary of “Meet the Parents” by holding special reunion showings for both movies.
After the movie showing of “Casino”, there will be a discussion between Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese, and following the screening of “Meet the Parents”, De Niro will meet up with Ben Stiller and his Tribeca Festival co-founder and producer Jane Rosenthal.

Rosenthal expressed immense joy at reuniting with Bob and Ben for a tribute to Meet the Parents, a film that has been entertaining families (and causing awkward laughter) for 25 years. Since another installment in the series is being developed, it seems fitting to re-experience the scenes that made this movie an immediate classic. The Tribeca Festival focuses on celebrating enduring stories, and this year’s program features many beloved reunions and throwbacks to movies we can’t get enough of.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the festivities will include special screenings commemorating classics like “Best in Show,” “Requiem for a Dream,” “Paris Is Burning,” and “American Psycho.” After the movies, we’ll be partying hard!
Beyond the reunion and reflection gatherings, Tribeca has unveiled its schedule of captivating in-depth discussions. This year’s festival will include a dialogue between Sean Penn and Kaitlan Collins from CNN, along with individual talks with Ellen Pompeo, Jim Gaffigan, and Mark Ronson.
The upcoming festival is set to debut the Alex Cooper documentary series called “Call Her Alex“, which will be its first public showing, and this will be followed by a discussion with the host of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy“.
At last, it’s been confirmed that this year’s Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award from Tribeca will go to Representative Jasmine Crockett.
The 2025 Tribeca Festival is set to run from June 4-15 in New York.
