Yolopark’s New Transformers Figures Bring G1 Nostalgia and IDW Twist – Here’s What You Need to Know!

In terms of non-transforming action figures from third-party manufacturers, it’s generally agreed that the Generation 1 era is the most popular. This trend holds true for a fresh group of four figures produced by Yolopark, although they’ve added a touch of comic book flavor to their design.

Through the Yolopark AMK line, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, and the lesser-known character Tarn will be introduced as new figures. Tarn originates from IDW’s Transformers comic books, while the other characters are inspired by G1. These figures are expected to be reinterpretations of previous releases from the company, and we hope to have the prices and release dates announced shortly.

Yolopark’s Newest Transformers Toys Homage Generation 1 and IDW in First-Look Reveal

The toys from Yolopark AMK for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream aren’t transformable; instead, they’re modeled after the characters’ appearances. You can notice this in their overall design and robot mode features, such as Bumblebee’s distinctive face and head. Moreover, these highly poseable figures seem to have been taken straight from the classic cartoon, particularly Starscream with his mischievous Decepticon expression. Initially belonging to the Yolopark AMK PRO series, which incorporates die-cast metal and LED lights, they’ve now been redesigned as part of the more budget-friendly regular AMK series, using only plastic components for the figures.

A new figure joining the primary Yolopark AMK series is Tarn, who first appeared in the IDW Transformers comics rather than the Generation 1 toy line, comics, or cartoon series. As a member of the Decepticon Justice Division, Tarn’s face even bears the Decepticon symbol, demonstrating his loyalty to the Decepticon faction. Previously, Yolopark had also released a Pro figure of Tarn, and while the new version uses more streamlined materials, it doesn’t compromise on detail or accuracy to the character’s design. Unfortunately, Yolopark hasn’t provided prices or release dates for these figures on their website yet, so fans may have to wait a bit longer to add them to their collection. The company has produced numerous figures related to this franchise, whether they are based on comic book and anime interpretations of certain characters or not.
