Barbra Streisand’s newest album titled “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two” has been confirmed to be released soon.
Eight-time Grammy winner Barbra Streisand unveiled her new album titled “The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two” on Wednesday, which boasts collaborations with eleven celebrated artists such as Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Sting, Hozier, Sam Smith, Seal, Josh Groban, Tim McGraw, Laufey and a duet with both Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande. This much-awaited album serves as the sequel to her 2014 release “Partners“, and is set for official release on June 27th.
I’ve always found great joy in singing duets with exceptionally talented artists. They spark creativity in ways that are unique and diverse, making our studio sessions a delight,” Streisand expressed in a statement. “My latest album, The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two, offered me the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, fellow label mates, and even new artists. I hold them all in high esteem… and I trust you’ll find our collaborations as enjoyable to listen to as it was for me to record them alongside these fantastic partners.
On Wednesday, the debut single from the album titled “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” was released in partnership with artist Hozier. Regarding their collaboration, Hozier expressed that being invited to perform a duet with her was a significant honor and a pleasant, unexpected delight.
Barbra Streisand is undeniably one of the longest-lasting and most influential vocalists in recent history, heralded for her powerful voice, exceptional talent, charm, and vision. In a statement, he expressed that Ewan MacColl’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” famously sung by Roberta Flack, has always puzzled him. To him, it’s one of the most captivating love songs ever composed. He also shared his excitement about collaborating with Barbra on this album, hoping that their duet will in some way pay tribute to Roberta Flack’s remarkable legacy.
Walter Afanasieff and Peter Asher were the ones who created “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two”, with Barbra Streisand and Jay Landers serving as executive producers for the project.
