Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: Shanaya Kapoor’s Debut Film Gets Release Date, Khushi Kapoor Overjoyed

Actors Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, will soon appear together in the upcoming romantic movie “Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.” Last year, TopMob was first to report that filming for this project began, and now, several months later, the producers have officially confirmed its release date: July 11, 2025.

On April 30th, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’s production team, including Zee 5, shared a joint post on Instagram featuring a promotional video to announce the release date of their upcoming romantic film. The post confirmed that Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey will star in this movie, which is set to hit theaters on July 11th, 2025.

Under the guidance of director Santosh Singh, the movie is being produced by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla through their production house, Mini Films. This production is in collaboration with Zee Studios and Mini Films. Moreover, audiences can look forward to a musical experience as Vishal Mishra contributes his melodies to this romantic tale.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan gets a release date

In a show of joy, Shanaya too shared the news on her Instagram stories and conveyed her feelings of gratitude regarding this recent development.

Apart from this, Khushi Kapoor’s biggest supporter wrote “Woohooooooo”, Maheep Kapoor expressed being “Beyond excited; God is Kind” with red-heart and nazar amulet emojis, while Sanjay Kapoor also added heart and nazar amulet emojis.

In response, Shweta Bachchan conveyed her heartfelt congratulations saying, “I’m overjoyed for you! Give my best wishes,” and Zoya Akhtar echoed the sentiment with, “My warmest congratulations to you, Shanaya. A huge hug.

During our conversation last year, Shanaya shared her enthusiasm about collaborating with Vikrant Massey. She divulged that her character is powerful, emotional, and lively. Simultaneously, Vikrant considered portraying a lover boy an ‘engrossing challenge’, emphasizing that the scope of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan felt exceptionally grand to him.

Remarkably, the movie was filmed in scenic spots that include Mumbai, Mussoorie, and various parts of Europe.

Moving forward, Shanaya is working on a suspenseful survival thriller titled “Tu Yaa Main” along with Adarsh Gourav. This project was unveiled back in March of this year.
