At the WAVES Summit 2025, Shah Rukh Khan graced the event with his wit and charisma, accompanied by Deepika Padukone and Karan Johar. They participated in a discussion titled “From Outsider to Ruler”, which was moderated by Karan Johar.

In a conversation, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his views about parenthood. He mentioned that having kids helps him avoid feelings of loneliness. His suggestion was straightforward: “You will never feel lonely if you can bring joy and laughter to your children. If you don’t have kids, then focus on making your parents happy instead.

Additionally, he mentioned that he doesn’t reprimand his children. Instead, he guides them by telling them, “Mom would like you to do this,” which refers to his wife, Gauri Khan.

Karan amused everyone by recounting a humorous tale about SRK preparing AbRam for a Sports Day event. It turned out that after witnessing this, Karan’s son Yash wanted KJo to train him as well. Karan jokingly commented, “Yash thinks I should train him just like Shah Rukh trained AbRam.” This joke had everyone in stitches, including SRK and Deepika.

Shah Rukh couldn’t help joking around with Karan. He said playfully, “Before you start, tell me, how do you compete in a 100-meter dash?” This implies that Shah Rukh was teasing Karan about his athletic abilities (or lack thereof).

Then he imitated Karan’s walk, making the audience laugh even harder.

Prior to the session, SRK displayed his captivating romantic allure. As someone handed him a water bottle, he seized the opportunity to recite a heartfelt poem from Jab Tak Hai Jaan. There’s no question about it – King Khan can even make a water bottle feel loved!

In terms of his upcoming projects, Shah Rukh Khan will appear in a film titled “King.” This production is helmed by director Siddharth Anand and features a cast that includes SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone (as per our exclusive sources). Nevertheless, an official confirmation from the makers has yet to be made. The film is slated for release in 2026.
