Her performance in the reality show generated a great deal of buzz and made news headlines everywhere. Now, Riddhima has confirmed that she has filmed a movie project. Remarkably, this venture was not part of her initial plans.
In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared that she’s preparing for her entrance into films. She didn’t provide much information, but mentioned that she’s been filming in the mountains until June 2025. She expressed great joy about this new journey.
During our chat, Riddhima mentioned that her family is thrilled about her endeavor and has been providing constant encouragement. She’s been sharing small glimpses of the set with them. The star of Fabulous Lives and Bollywood Wives disclosed that she resided with her mother Neetu Kapoor during filming, and they even practiced together. Moreover, she shared that her daughter Samara Sahni would pop by during summer breaks.
Riddhima went on to explain that acting in films hadn’t been part of her initial scheme. “This wasn’t something I had planned. When I was offered a role, I simply agreed. The moment I read the script, I fell in love with it,” she expressed.
Previously, in April 2025, TopMob disclosed an exciting collaboration: Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were joining forces for a full-fledged comedy movie, helmed by Ashish R Mohan. A trustworthy insider shared details about the project, “This is a humorous tale based on everyday situations, and they’ve assembled a talented cast for this cinematic venture.” The source added that the team intends to release the film in theaters, although the title remains secret.
According to the report, the movie “Ashish R Mohan’s Directorial” features acting debut of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is thrilled to enter the entertainment industry with a comic-themed film. Neetu Kapoor has a significant role in this production and plays a pivotal part amidst the confusion.
