In the past two decades, this movie has earned cult status, and it features a memorable scene where Pfeiffer’s character, Andre, and his wife (played by Inna Korobkina), give birth amidst a zombie apocalypse. The introduction of the “zombie baby” in the film sparked numerous conversations among viewers, making it one of the most discussed scenes in the movie.
In an interview, Snyder discussed a memorable scene from the movie that he adores, which was entirely conceived by James Gunn. He went on to acknowledge and praise Gunn for the idea, stating, “I appreciated it immensely, so I’m grateful to him for creating it.
Ever since the rise of “Dawn of the Dead”, I’ve been captivated by Zack Snyder’s cinematic vision. He’s taken the reins for Netflix’s action-packed zombie epic, “Army of the Dead” (2021), and its upcoming sequel in 2023, a title yet to be revealed. Moreover, he’s set to direct “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver” in 2024. Interestingly, I was thrilled to see him collaborate with James Gunn once more as an executive producer on “The Suicide Squad” (2021).
