Aamir Khan’s upcoming comedy movie, titled “Sitaare Zameen Par,” featuring Genelia Deshmukh as a co-star, is creating quite a buzz. The filmmakers have revealed that they will unveil the trailer of this film tonight, both on television and social media channels. In anticipation, Riteish Deshmukh, who has already watched the trailer, has given his seal of approval, and this has only heightened the excitement among fans.
On May 13th, Riteish Deshmukh shared a heartfelt post on his social media platform (previously known as Twitter), praising the trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par. His comments were succinct yet impactful, not revealing too much as he simply expressed, “Exceptional trailer #SitareZameenPar.

Only a short while ago, Aamir Khan Productions shared an imaginative video on their Instagram account to reveal when the trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par would be out.
In an amusing and compact clip, you’ll find tiny figures of the movie’s actors portraying basketball players, joined by Khan. The video ends with a sneak peek of a basketball image signaling that the trailer launch is happening tonight, specifically on May 13th.
Interestingly, instead of following the conventional method for premiering the trailer in a large-scale event, Mr. Perfectionist opted for something different. Specifically, it appears that the promotional material will debut on satellite television first – airing on Zee Network Channels between 7:50 pm and 8:10 pm – followed by its release on Aamir Khan Production’s social media platforms at 8:20 pm.
10 fresh actors, such as Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar, are set to make their debut in the film, which is being directed by R.S. Prasanna.
The movie coming out soon is penned by Divy Nidhi Sharma and jointly produced by Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit, and Ravi Bhagchandka. It’s scheduled for theater debut next month on June 20, 2025.
Riteish Deshmukh, meanwhile, will appear next in the upcoming film Housefull 5, led by Akshay Kumar. This fifth edition of the popular series also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani as the main characters.
This upcoming movie, which takes place on a cruise ship, is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Be sure to save the date – it’s coming to cinemas on June 6, 2025.
