- Strength in Numbers runs from May 20th to 22nd
- Give as many gifts as you can
- Special Research tickets for the Community Day Classic can also be gifted
The final stage of the “Might and Mastery” season in Pokémon Go is approaching, and Niantic has made teamwork a key aspect. Starting on Tuesday, May 20th, and lasting until Thursday, May 22nd, the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge encourages you to exchange many Gifts with your friends.
Throughout the designated timeframe, you’ll have the opportunity to unwrap up to 50 gifts daily. This means increased opportunities for Stardust, items, and friendship bonuses, but most significantly, it brings us one step closer as a global community towards earning a delightful prize – Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic: Machop, which can be shared among friends!
If you manage to finish the task before the due date on May 23rd, you’ll gain the ability to share Machop Special Research tickets with friends who have achieved Great Friends status. You can distribute these tickets without needing to purchase one for yourself first – simply visit the in-game shop and share some Fighting-type camaraderie. Each player can gift up to 20 tickets daily, allowing ample opportunity for generosity.
Straight ahead lies the Machop event, happening on May 24th from 2 to 5 pm local time. During this period, you’ll spot Superpower Pokémon more often in the wild. Excitingly, the Shiny version is also returning, which is a great opportunity for those who didn’t participate in the initial event or want another chance to create a glowing green Machamp squad.
