Hera Pheri 3: Paresh Rawal breaks silence on Akshay Kumar’s legal notice over his exit, fans can’t help but worry about film’s status

The highly anticipated third installment of the Hera Pheri series has encountered a major setback. Actor Paresh Rawal, well-loved by fans, has decided to step away from the film, and this decision was not due to any creative differences with the director. This move has stirred quite a bit of excitement among both fans and the production team. With whispers about Akshay Kumar taking legal action and stories suggesting Rawal returning his signing fee to the producers, Paresh Rawal released an official statement to clarify why he chose to leave the project.

Paresh Rawal posted on Twitter, “My attorney, Ameet Naik, has responded appropriately about my termination and departure, which was justified. Once everyone reads my response, all related matters should be resolved.

People swiftly reacted to Rawal’s tweet. One individual inquired, “What transpired, things were looking great so why is he exiting the film now?” Another posted, “It seems something has occurred that both Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are aware of.” A third user expressed, “The situation between you and Hera Pheri 3 is regrettable, I wish it hadn’t escalated as it did.

As per the report, Paresh Rawal returned not only his initial signing fee of Rs 11 lakhs but also added an extra 15% interest, meaning he gave back more money than he originally got.

Because the movie wasn’t due to be filmed until a year later, and its release was even more distant, he’d essentially need to wait around two years for his complete compensation. This long wait factored into his choice to leave the production.

Furthermore, it’s reported that the creators of Hera Pheri 3 are unhappy about Paresh Rawal deciding to leave the production. Upon learning this news, both Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan were taken aback and expressed feelings of disappointment.

Akshay Kumar, taking on dual roles as actor and producer for the project, has taken the step of filing a lawsuit against Rawal via his production company, with attorney Pooja Tidke serving as their legal representative.

As a devoted follower, I’ve been informed about potential severe legal ramifications due to my actions. Undeniably, this has undermined the reputation of our franchise. I’ve been notified via letter about the various legal complications that may arise. It’s important to acknowledge that these actions have resulted in significant expenses for the cast, crew, senior actors, logistics, equipment, and the production of the trailer.

After the release of Hera Pheri in 2000 and its sequel in 2006, Paresh Rawal’s performance as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte became extremely well-known. However, with his departure from the project, the future of a third installment is now uncertain.
