Unlike these other Marvel-themed streaming series, which have continued with additional content, Oscar Isaac’s supernatural series on Disney+ still leaves a significant question mark for Marvel Studios.
In the Moon Knight series, the protagonist, portrayed by Isaac, navigated his dual personality while struggling with being controlled by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian deity named Khonshu. The show featured Isaac in the lead role, Ethan Hawke as the antagonist Arthur Harrow, and May Calamawy as Layla El-Faouly, who transitioned from archaeologist to superhero.
When Will Moon Knight Appear in the MCU Next?
Despite a gap of more than three years since Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight last appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it doesn’t necessarily imply that the character is doomed to disappear forever.
It’s possible, though rather improbable at this moment in time, that Marvel Studios may reunite the team for another season of the Moon Knight streaming series.
