How to Start Royal Geographers Faction Quest In Tainted Grail The Fall Of Avalon
Once players retrieve the initial piece of King Arthur’s soul (Excalibur) during the ‘A World To Win’ Main Quest, they gain access to activate the first Tomb of the Knights of the Round Table. Each tomb is situated in a unique location, and initiating the Royal Geographers Faction Quest, linked with uncovering the Tombs and conquering their obstacles, can be started in the initial region of the game, The Horns of the South.
All Knights Of The Round Table Tombs Locations
To unlock every tomb, a distinctive emblem is needed, each tied to one of King Arthur’s relics. The knightly tomb of Lancelot the Traitor calls for Excalibur’s emblem, whereas the tombs of Gawain and Dagonet correspond with Palamedes’ Shield, and the resting places of Sir Galahad and the Unseen Knight demand the Crown Seal. Following this, our objective is to determine the positions of all the tombs so players can gather some of the finest armor and weaponry within the game.
Sir Lancelot’s Tomb Location
Sir Lancelot’s Tomb can be found on the eastern peninsula, near the All-Mother’s temple, within the Horns of the South region. Make your way down to the beach, then swim across the shore until you spot a campfire, some old ruins, and Drowners nearby. Keep an eye out for a merchant near the tomb entrance. Speak with him to acquire intriguing items. Next to the door, you’ll find the Excalibur Seal – interact with it to unlock the door and enter the tomb, where you’ll face challenges to claim Sir Lancelot’s Legacy. After defeating Lancelot and his mourning spirits, a woman named Fionola, who claims to be from the Royal Geographers, will approach you. She’ll invite you to join her organization and search for more Knights’ Tombs.

Sir Gawain’s Tomb Location
To reach Sir Gawain’s Tomb in the Cuanacht region, players must complete the Main Quest first. Subsequently, travel westward from the city along the main road until you come across a bridge over a river. Stand on the middle of this bridge with your back towards the city and look north. You will spot a ledge nearby where you can jump down. The entrance to Sir Gawain’s Tomb will be hidden among some rocks in a corner.
Inside the tomb, players may encounter various enemies like Dryads, so remember to carry antidotes as precaution. After battling through these foes, players will face off against the Green Knight, Sir Bertilak. Following this confrontation, they’ll have to engage in combat with the undead Sir Gawain to secure both their armor and weapons.
Sir Dagonet’s Tomb Location
The final resting place of the mirthful knight, Sir Dagonet, can be found northwest from the Forlorn Gate, nestled in Cuanacht’s northeastern region. To reach it, players should use the teleporter at the Forlorn Gate and then head towards the northeast while staying close to the left side of the rocky wall. As they ascend a minor hill, they will come across the entrance to Dagonet’s Tomb. If the players have not yet discovered the tomb, they must travel by horse along Cuanacht’s northern road until they arrive at its location.
Upon entering, they will encounter an unusual tomb that appears more like a dark gothic fortress, replete with deadly traps and other unexpected perils such as false walls. Navigate through these hazards and proceed until you reach a section of the floor with a gap. Cross the small wooden bridge and stay close to the wall to gain access to Sir Dagonet’s Resting Chambers, where they may find a delightful surprise left behind by the Jester Knight.
Sir Galahad’s Tomb Location
After finishing the primary missions “Divided We Fall” and “The Long Defeat” in the Forlorn Swords, you’ll unlock the last two Knight Tombs for the Royal Geographer’s Quest. The Tomb of Sir Galahad is nestled on the northeastern edge of Forlorn Swords, under the Seat of the Elders, a spot players are likely to encounter during their main quest in this area. This tomb is an elaborate labyrinth inhabited by undead creatures. At its end lies the reanimated Galahad. Defeating him rewards another puzzle piece – his sword and armor – and another audience with the enigmatic Fionola. During this encounter, players can question her about her connection to Caradoc. It’s strongly advised that players delve into as much information about him as they can find.
Tomb Of The Knight That Never Came Location
The Unexpected Tomb of the Knight Who Never Arrived is a delight for enthusiasts of Arthurian Legends, as it’s often referred to as such. Many followers of King Arthur may have suspected by now that it pertains to the traitor Mordred, Arthur and Morgana Le Fay’s illegitimate son. Upon entering the tomb, you’ll encounter numerous Undead combatants. Overcome them and proceed to encounter a mysterious figure named Govannon. Follow his personal mission to retrieve a misplaced Chisel, then vanquish the Specter of Sir Vast to unveil the final chapter of the Knight’s history and gain access to his shop offering late-game crafting materials, as well as the Ashen Veil Armor Set. After exiting the tomb, you’ll meet Fionola one last time, completing the Royal Geographer’s Questline.
