Vinyl Me, Please Finds New Ownership To Get Saved From Bankruptcy

As a devoted music enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Vinyl Me, Please – the beloved yet troubled vinyl record subscription service – has recently been taken over by new owners. This exciting news comes just a month after the platform declared bankruptcy, signifying a fresh start and a continued commitment to the joy of vinyl music.

VNYL Inc, which owns brands like VNYL and Vinylbox, aims to revitalize a once cherished vinyl collector’s brand that has been facing hardships. The Denver-based platform had been accused of not delivering orders or providing refunds for purchases, as reported by The Denver Post. Indeed, Vinyl Me, Please announced it was filing for liquidation. Under the VNYL group, Vinyl Me, Please will now be managed by CEO Nick Alt and president Emily Muhoberac.

In a statement, Alt mentioned that the company is dedicated to rebuilding customer trust and returning VMP to its original reputation as “The Best Damn Record Club.” They intend to fulfill past commitments made to customers and provide exceptional vinyl experiences.

Alt also stated, “Our goal is to expand this community and attract new collectors. However, before we grow, it’s crucial that we address our existing customers’ concerns. This involves making amends, listening carefully, and demonstrating through actions that VMP remains a worthy investment.

With VMP becoming part of the company’s collection, the platform will gain access to VNYL technology, enabling it to develop a more streamlined, adaptable, and eco-friendly business.

Muhoberac stated, ‘Our vinyl customers have been missing out on a premium service, and we aim to change that by returning to our roots at VMP and focusing on an exceptional customer experience.’ In other words, we’re committed to providing the white-glove treatment they truly deserve.
