Meet star kid whose first film flopped and now he’s betting big on Sunny Deol’s next

Acting isn’t something you’re automatically good at from birth; instead, it’s a skill that improves over time. The Indian film industry has seen numerous actors honing their craft throughout the years. Some continue to work tirelessly, while others take a break and patiently wait for a robust project to come their way. This strategy is what we find with an emerging actor, who happens to be the son of a renowned Bollywood personality – Ahan Shetty.

Ahan Shetty, born on December 28, 1995, is Suniel and Mana Shetty’s son. He has an older sister, Athiya, who no longer works in the entertainment industry and stays out of the limelight. Based on his social media presence, it appears that Ahan, now 29 years old, is passionate about sports – from football to shooting and tennis. He doesn’t shy away from expressing his love for sports and athletics. Additionally, he keeps himself fit by regularly visiting the gym, as evidenced by numerous photos of his workouts on his social media account.

In terms of his career, Ahan Shetty made his first appearance in the romantic action drama film Tadap (2021). Guided by Milan Lutharia, this production also starred Tara Sutaria as the female protagonist. Known for being a remake of a successful Telugu film, RX 100, it didn’t perform exceptionally well at the box office, with Tadap ending up as a major flop. After that, Ahan hasn’t taken on any new projects, but now he’s taking a significant risk with one of the most awaited films, Border 2.

Indeed, you’ve understood correctly! The actor from Tadap will appear alongside Sunny Deol in the upcoming sequel of Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, this new installment also features Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. Anticipate watching Border 2 on the big screen next year over the Republic Day weekend.

Instead of mine original statement: “On the other hand, I was all set to share the screen with Pooja Hegde in a film named Sanki, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. However, according to recent updates, it appears that this project has been temporarily halted.”

“I was excitedly looking forward to working alongside Pooja Hegde on a film titled Sanki, produced by the talented Sajid Nadiadwala. Unfortunately, recent news suggests that this project might have been put on hold for now.

At present, the young actor is fulfilling the role of motherhood, following the arrival of their daughter, who was welcomed by Athiya and her husband, KL Rahul.
