While you may plan a detailed list of questions, the conversation might veer off into unexpected directions, as demonstrated by THR‘s recent Comedy Actress Emmy Roundtable with Kristen Bell (Nobody Wants This), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along, The Studio), Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), Jessica Williams (Shrinking) and Michelle Williams (Dying for Sex).

In the case of Dying for Sex, her 19-year-old daughter was supportive, although she jokingly admitted that she was glad it didn’t air during high school.
The balancing act of juggling work and family responsibilities emerged as a recurring theme throughout the discussion. Kathryn Hahn opened up about regretting missed moments with her children due to filming commitments, while Bell revealed that she now refuses to work on projects outside of Los Angeles because she values spending time with her family. “I like being Kristen,” said Bell, “and if I had to choose between acting and being myself, I would give up this career in an instant.
