Etheria Restart tier list and a reroll guide

On a gacha game like ER, it’s essential to understand that if you aspire to rank among the top players on your server, you’ll need a specialized team capable of smoothly overcoming stages. Characters in the S tier are the ones you should strive for, whether through rerolling or by relying on good fortune with your draws.

Thus far, we’ve provided you with the fresh Etheria Restart codes, including Anima Prototypes summoning passes as bonuses. Don’t forget to redeem them before they expire, and let’s move on to the next step!

Etheria Restart tier list breakdown

At the top of the Etheria Restart tier list, we have characters that excel at their specific role – be it healers or supports, which will help your team stay alive during difficult battles, such as Freya, or outstanding DPS characters, such as Massiah, who is a beast in terms of damage dealt.

Absolutely, beyond the two I pointed out, there are several other factors to consider when assembling a team. It’s crucial to evaluate the kind of opponent you’re facing and tailor your team according to their strengths and weaknesses, whether it’s about endurance, dealing more damage, or countering their buffs. For instance.

The harmony between these characters plays a crucial role too, but if you can assemble two or three top-tier characters from the list provided and utilize them strategically, you should find success. With their improvements, they’ll make short work of each stage with ease.

Alright then, let’s find out more about these characters and explore the Etheria Restart tier rankings straight away!

1 S+ tier

  • Massiah (Blade of Verdict)
  • Rosa (Doom Blossom)
  • Heinrich (Godslayer Guns)
  • Kloss (Phantom Hacker)
  • Freya (Oblivion Flame)
  • Lily (Phantom Trickster)
  • Helkid (Scarlet Ironveil)
  • Lingluo (Cantus Maris)

In the game Etheria: Restart, Massiah is among the top-tier DPS (Damage Per Second) characters that you can construct at present. His ability, Divine Descent, provides him with invulnerability for a turn, which can be incredibly advantageous, particularly in PvE (Player vs Environment). Additionally, his Defiance Cross skill can either grant him invulnerability or prolong his existing invincibility for a turn – this can give you a significant edge if utilized strategically. In terms of PvP (Player vs Player), he’s quite formidable because he can bypass DEF (Defense), making him an excellent addition to any team.

Freya is a character worth acquiring by many players due to her exceptional support abilities. She offers beneficial effects for your team, like speeding up their turn order (allowing them to rapidly use skills), and also negatively affecting enemies in the same manner. Additionally, she can inflict the Nightmare effect on enemies, which encourages allies to heal themselves when attacking an enemy with that affliction.

Lingluo serves as another premier support character, primarily focusing on healing abilities. Although her defenses are relatively low to begin with, her healing capabilities more than compensate for this shortcoming. Equipped with a variety of skills, she not only restores health to allies but can also dispel negative effects through abilities like Whirlpool. Her skill set mainly involves buffing, debuffing, or enhancing existing buffs, which harmonizes well with many other characters in her tier.

2 S tier

  • Lian (Flameborn Phoenix)
  • Rahu (Wily Revenant)
  • Sania (Vengeful Thorn)
  • Tiamat (Abyssal Nightmare)
  • Xiada (Alluring Enchantress)
  • Beyontin (Acheron Lycoris)
  • DokiDoki (Truth Memetic)
  • Tsukiyo Mi (Queen Bee)
  • Mia (Spirit Water)
  • Sania (Virtuous Maiden)
  • Mio (Riddle Encyclopedia)
  • Valerian (Eternal Slumber)
  • Gray (Thunderbolt)
  • Marvell (Pure Dimension)
  • Chiaki the Echo (Daydream Melody)
  • Dinah (Dual Thorn)

Rahu is an excellent DPS/Support character, yet he doesn’t rank highest on our Etheria Restart tier list because he’s challenging to master. To effectively support allies or boost his damage, precise timing of his abilities is crucial, which isn’t always easy. However, when mastered, Rahu can be incredibly powerful, particularly as a single-target DPS. If not fully mastered, he can be ordinary. He truly excels in PvP, where he excels at shielding.

Beyondin stands out as an SSR support character, boasting a unique ability among few others – she possesses a revive skill within her toolkit. Moreover, she not only boosts her allies’ turn meter with Bloom Sonata and Soul Whirl, but also enhances it. With her Karma Abyss, she amplifies allies’ Attack and Critical Damage for two turns, earning her a top spot among supports in Etheria: Restart.

Gray serves as a starting reinforcement (SR) obtained during tutorial, yet boasts impressive debuffing capabilities, making him useful from the moment he is acquired. He further enhances his turn meter and can boost both his and his allies’ Critical rate with his abilities, making him an excellent asset for any team.

3 A tier

  • Borgne (Nocturnal Prayer)
  • Khloros (Grim Penalty)
  • Celince (Celestial Rain)
  • Veronika (Crimson Duchess)
  • Diting (Shadow Hunter)
  • Fangus (Infinite Trojan)
  • Rin the Unbowed (Honed Edge)
  • Victor (Necro Miner)
  • Kazuyo the Reverie (Tranquil Rest)
  • Kraken (Mastermind Manager)
  • Obol (Beacon Conductor)
  • Turandot (Crimson Waltz)
  • Yang (Flamboyant Juvenile)
  • Chiaki (Illusion’s Reality)

Borgne is a character from SSR class in DPS role, known for dealing immense Area-of-Effect (AoE) damage. He’s primarily a damage dealer, with decent survivability in his abilities. However, since he doesn’t significantly benefit from Critical Hits, he falls into this tier of evaluation.

Veronika shines particularly well in player versus player (PvP) scenarios, while she can be effective in player versus environment (PvE), but her performance may vary based on luck. In terms of PvP, she is highly regarded as one of the top characters. Her unique ability allows her to take buffs from enemies and distribute them among her teammates, making her more suited for specific situations, particularly when it comes to PvP.

chiaki is quite effective as a healer, even being an SR character. She’s rather simple to use, with most of her abilities centered around healing her teammates. If you don’t have another healer that performs better, Chiaki can be very dependable.

4 B tier

  • Rilmocha (Blast Belle)
  • Lilith (Puppet Master)
  • Cachi the Guard (Fearless Guard)
  • Viper (Wandering Sinner)
  • Dorothy the Wisher (Journey to Yourland)
  • Mizuki Makoto (Grim Fist)
  • Dorothy (Lynx)
  • Oboro (Phantom Edge)
  • Tsutomu (Musou Blade)
  • RC-77 (Geek Scientist)
  • Rin (Wild Rampage)
  • No. 41 (Researcher)
  • Cachi (Ursa Minor)

Rilmocha functions well as a solid Damage Per Second (DPS) character, particularly in certain scenarios. Her area-of-effect (AoE) abilities are strong, although she may not excel at single-target damage compared to others. She heavily utilizes splash damage, which can be beneficial for AoE situations as it affects surrounding enemies when attacking a single target.

During the tutorial, you acquire Cachi the Guard, who serves as a Support Role (SR) character. While he’s not extraordinarily powerful, he’s quite capable of debilitating opponents. Specifically, he can lower an enemy’s Critical Hit Rate and Speed, making them less threatening in combat.

During the tutorial, you’ll encounter Dorothy, who is average in terms of strength. She’s a reliable and straightforward healer, not exceptional but certainly serviceable. You could describe her as satisfactory, with room for improvement until you find something more advanced.

5 C tier

  • Kazami Kazuyo (Discipline Keeper)
  • Andrew (Blitz Striker)
  • Andrew (Unyielding Aegis)
  • Sybil (Zephyr Blade)
  • Asshu (Scoundrel)
  • Vice (Rogue Crew)

6 Etheria: Restart reroll guide

To secure a prime position in Etheria Restart and potentially obtain an S-tier character, consider re-rolling. Here’s a simple guide for executing this process:

1. First, ensure you have reached the maximum level (or close to it) with your current character. This is necessary to receive the best rewards during the reroll process.

2. Once you’re at the required level, head to the character selection screen and press the ‘Quit Game’ or ‘Exit’ button. Be aware that this will log you out of the game.

3. Wait for a few minutes, then log back in. This resets the character pool, allowing you to choose from newly available characters.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as needed until you find an S-tier character that suits your playstyle.

5. Once you’ve found a desirable character, make sure to save your progress or bind the account to ensure you don’t lose it during future rerolls.

  • Log in to the game with a Gmail account.
  • Play through the tutorial, and then do the recommended pulls from the gacha (they’re set).
  • Play through the story mode and finish Chapter 1 (to unlock the mailbox)
  • Clear stage 1-3, and then do the 10-pull from the gacha.
  • Go redeem the codes and claim all the emails.
  • Pull in the gacha, using all your resources.
  • If you got the character you want, keep the account; otherwise, continue to the next step.
  • Go to Menu> Settings> Other> Return to Login Screen.
  • Tap on the Account icon in the top right corner (the one with a human figure), and then select Log Out to log out of the account you’re on.
  • Log in using another email, similar to your initial one (add 12345 to keep track of your account).
  • Start again from step 1.

How long does it take to reroll?

Rerolling will take about 20~ minutes, but it depends on your speed too. You should try to always use Gray’s Thunderous Roar at the start of a turn, since that will speed things up a bit.

Who to reroll for?

I recommend rerolling for any of the S+ tier characters. My best suggestion is to go for the following:

  • Freya
  • Lily
  • Rosa
  • Heinrich
  • Mio
