RuPaul’s Drag Race has officially entered the Project Runway workroom.
After unveiling a fresh group of contestants on Wednesday, former ‘Drag Race’ star Utica Queen has been confirmed for ‘Project Runway’ season 21. On this fashion competition, Utica will be known as Ethan Mundt, his genuine name, which represents the first-ever collaboration between these two cherished reality TV series.
The Freeform show introduced a group of 12 fashion designers, among whom are two previous contestants from Project Runway: Jesus Estrada from season 7 and Caycee Black from season 19. The remaining designers in the lineup are Alex Foxworth, Angelo Rosa, Antonio Estrada (Jesus’ twin), Belania Daley, Joan Madison, Joseph McRae, Madeline Malenfant, Veejay Floresca, and Yuchen Han.

Beyond its new lineup of contenders, it was also disclosed that Law Roach, Zendaya’s stylist and rotating judge on ‘Drag Race’, will be part of the judging panel along with Nina Garcia. Previously announced returnees Heidi Klum (host) and Christian Siriano are also included. Season 21 boasts a high-profile list of guest judges, including Tyra Banks, another familiar face from fashion reality TV shows.
More judges joining the panel are Jenna Lyons from “Real Housewives of New York”, comedian Nikki Glaser, fashion icon Michael Kors, actress Sofia Vergara, and model Joan Smalls, along with a few more notables.
Beginning on July 31, the latest season, number 21, of “Project Runway” will make its debut on Freeform. Additionally, viewers can catch up or rewatch episodes on both Hulu and Disney+ streaming platforms.
