Bravo has extended the contract for Andy Cohen’s talk show “Watch What Happens Live” up until 2027, ensuring that he will continue in his roles as both host and producer with the brand for an extended period.
NBCUniversal has prolonged Cohen’s initial agreement until 2028. Cohen will carry on hosting reunion shows and special events, and will also serve as an executive producer for the Real Housewives series.
Having spent over two decades at Bravo, I am deeply appreciative for the opportunity to continue pursuing my passion there,” Cohen stated. “I’m thrilled to be part of expanding our victories throughout NBCUniversal’s exceptional collection, and above all, I’m grateful that my team and I get to keep doing what we enjoy most.
Initially, a former executive at Bravo, Cohen started hosting “Watch What Happens Live” in 2009, serving as an informal follow-up for their programming. Over time, it evolved into a significant late-night series, inviting not only Bravo personalities but also prominent figures from the realms of entertainment, cuisine, style, and culture. In the process, Cohen has solidified his identity as the embodiment of the brand, which has grown to be a must-watch on Peacock beyond just cable television.
Cohen plays a significant role in creating several popular franchises at Bravo, such as the “Real Housewives” and “Top Chef.” These shows have become essential reality TV and streaming mainstays. Furthermore, he essentially serves as the host for Bravocon, an event organized by NBCU for Bravo enthusiasts. Tickets to his show’s tapings often sell out quickly.
Additionally, Cohen works part-time for SiriusXM, managing two of their radio stations. On New Year’s Eve, he shares the hosting duties with his good friend Anderson Cooper for CNN’s major event.
