Ex-PlayStation boss says Stellar Blade’s combat is what’s made it so successful, but the 95 “adult” mods on Nexus tell a different story

The launch of Stellar Blade on PC has been absolutely outstanding, breaking every single-player record for concurrent players on Steam and receiving glowing reviews as well. Even former Sony Interactive Entertainment president Shuhei Yoshida believes it’s the combat that has gamers eager to play, but the numerous appealing mods hint at a different driving factor.

In a chat with Game Watch (translated via Automaton), Yoshida expresses his opinion that the difficult, soulslike-style combat in Stellar Blade is what has contributed significantly to its success. He also notes that the game boasts impressive technical aspects, graphics, and character designs, but it’s the combat system that has played the crucial role in its triumph.

The most popular mod among all is titled “Eve with no clothes on (original proportions).” It’s not only the most downloaded adult mod but also the most popular overall, boasting a staggering 68,500+ downloads.

Among the popular mods, one is titled “Eve Bigger Natural,” and its description reads as “Indeed, another nude version of Eve.” This helps the community understand the content. By the way, which Stellar Blade mods have you added to your game?
