The game Wizardry Variants Daphne is a modern adaptation of the popular Wizardry series, which is known for originating the first-person dungeon crawler genre. This series may have ignited a period of fantasy resurgence in Japan. Given this, it’s not surprising that the creators at Drecom Co. wanted to adapt it for mobile devices with Wizardry Variants Daphne. Now, players can embark on a fresh set of campaigns perfect for summer, even introducing a new legendary character!
In this instance, we find ourselves with Crow Master Aldric, a Fortune-teller, who deviates from the typical dwarf mold as he’s not your run-of-the-mill “act first, think later” hero. Instead, Aldric excels in sly maneuvers and eluding hazards.
With his skills, Aldric can perform a low-impact yet precise attack that boosts his ability to dodge subsequent assaults. Simultaneously, his crow sidekick retaliates when he sustains harm. Over time, Aldric enhances traits like Detect, Evade Trap, Disarm Trap, and Trapophobia Tolerance, enabling him to maneuver through corridors laden with traps without being caught.
A murder of crows
Aldric will be available from the limited-time events Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune and Remains of the Crow Handler Who Took Revenge on a Cult, available until July 9th. You’ll be able to draw his equipment, the Raven Dagger, Sooty Cloth and Old Perch as part of the additional Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune (with bonus) event.
