In an exclusive interview with TopMob, Hera Pheri 3’s star Akshay Kumar was queried about the latest updates on the film and further insights. Responding to this, Akshay expressed, “Things are unfolding as they should.” He also expressed optimism, saying, “I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I truly hope everything goes smoothly.” Akshay confidently stated that all will fall into place and said, “Everything will go smoothly; I am certain of it.

The ongoing feud between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal has been grabbing attention since Rawal chose to back out of the highly anticipated movie, Hera Pheri 3. In an interview with Lallantop, Paresh Rawal referred to his cherished character from Hera Pheri as a “wind-blown puppet,” indicating his aspiration to progress beyond being stereotyped in such roles.
After Akshay Kumar made a public withdrawal, tensions heightened when Kumar sued Paresh Rawal. This action prompted Rawal to refund the signing fee plus interest, which only served to increase the conflict between them even more.
Regardless of our current differences, Akshay and I have just wrapped up our work on Priyadarshan’s horror-comedy, Bhoot Bangla. Yet, it seems our bond, which was once a strong friendship, has taken a turn for the worse as per recent reports.
In terms of his career, Akshay Kumar is preparing for a spectacular debut in the Tollywood industry with the movie Kannappa, a fantasy mythological tale. He will take on the venerated role of Lord Shiva in this production. Vishnu Manchu leads the cast, while Akshay, along with actors Mohanlal and Prabhas, are set for special appearances. Kannappa is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on June 27, 2025, marking Akshay’s first venture into the Telugu film industry.
