Kim Woodburn, a renowned British reality television personality famed for the show “How Clean Is Your House,” has passed away at the age of 83.
According to BBC News and a heartfelt message on Kim Woodburn’s Instagram account managed by her husband Peter, Kim Woodburn sadly passed away on Monday following a brief illness. The post on Instagram read: “My precious, stunning Kim passed away last night. May God be with you, my love.” Accompanying the message were photos of the couple throughout their years together.
Woodburn, known as “The Cleaning Queen,” gained prominence by co-hosting Channel 4’s How Dirty Is Your Home alongside Aggie MacKenzie starting in 2003. This popular British series showcased Woodburn and MacKenzie visiting cluttered homes throughout the nation, performing thorough cleanups.
Over the past few years, she gained recognition among viewers due to her participation in “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2017, a show characterized by disagreements and scandals. Notably, Woodburn and “Loose Women” star Coleen Nolan had a public spat on this program. Later, their relationship deteriorated further during an appearance on the “Loose Women” panel.
Her professional life featured a stint on the show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” in the year 2009. In this competition, Woodburn came second to the television chef, Gino D’Acampo.
The manager shared with the BBC, “With profound sorrow, we announce that our cherished Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday after a brief illness. Kim was exceptionally kind-hearted, thoughtful, captivating, and resilient. Her husband Peter is devastated by the loss of his beloved companion.

On Tuesday, among those expressing their tributes was the X-Factor duo Jedward. They posted on social media, “Rest in Peace Kim Woodburn, you will always be our Celebrity Big Brother friend!” They added, “We grew up watching you and sharing memories with you will be missed. You created television gold for all generations that will live on.
