Akshay Kumar is one of the most active actors within India’s film industry. In 2025, he will star in three significant movies such as Sky Force, Kesari 2, and Housefull 5. What’s more, he has been cast to portray a crucial role as Lord Shiva in Vishnu Manchu’s ambitious devotional-action film titled Kannappa. The movie is scheduled for release on June 27th. During an interview, actor Vishnu Manchu expressed great admiration for Akshay Kumar and explained why he felt Akshay was perfectly suited to portray Lord Shiva in his film, Kannappa. Later on, Akshay Kumar confided in his co-star from Kannappa that he produces one music video of Lord Shiva annually on the festival of Shivratri. Additionally, he disclosed that this tradition began around three years ago and he intends to carry on by participating in more songs dedicated to Lord Shiva every year.
Speaking about Akshay Kumar’s unique collection of Lord Shiva tunes, Vishnu Manchu expressed his admiration by stating, “I’m green with envy over his Lord Shiva music selection. I hadn’t realized it, but it seems Akshay Kumar has a stash of these divine tracks. Out of curiosity, I checked an app to identify the music he was playing. That’s when his team informed me, ‘No sir, it’s your personal collection.’ Intriguing, isn’t it?” The actor then added, “Magnificent Lord Shiva music. Whenever he plays these tunes, he seems to be in a trance. He always carries such positive energy.
Akshay Kumar, expanding on what Vishnu Manchu stated, said, “I exercise to that.” When asked if he listens to Lord Shiva music while working out or meditating, the actor explained, “Meditation is a form of exercise for me. Exercise is meditation too, in essence. I was simply playing it during the makeup trial and the day we were filming.
