EXCLUSIVE: Dhurandhar teaser to release on Ranveer Singh’s birthday in July

Following the success of URI: The Surgical Strike, director Aditya Dhar will collaborate with Ranveer Singh for the first time in a unique spy thriller titled Dhurandhar. This film is based on true events that transpired during the tenure of India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval. The producers have secured an impressive ensemble cast featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan for pivotal roles in the movie. Filming is currently underway, and it has been exclusively revealed that the first teaser of Dhurandhar will be released on July 6, coinciding with Ranveer Singh’s birthday.

Aditya Dhar has secured an intriguing teaser for his anticipated directorial project, titled Dhurandhar. Additionally, the source revealed that Jio Studios, Aditya Dhar, and Ranveer Singh are all thrilled about the upcoming teaser, which showcases each character in grand, larger-than-life forms. The movie, titled “Dhurandhar,” is a suspenseful spy story predominantly set in the 1970s and 1980s within Pakistan. However, it also includes contemporary elements that are currently being kept secret, as Ajit Doval remains a highly respected figure with a career spanning four decades.

Approximately 75% of the movie “Dhurandhar” has been filmed so far, and the production team hopes to complete the filming by September. A release date for “Dhurandhar” will be shared once filming is finished, but as of now, the Jio Studios team together with Aditya Dhar are aiming for a release window between January and March.
