Brad Pitt and George Clooney have been close friends in Hollywood for a long time, best known for their roles in the Ocean’s series of films during the early to mid-2000s. However, fans have been curious about why they haven’t collaborated on another heist movie together since then. Recently, Pitt was asked about the possibility of Ocean’s 14.
Brad Pitt spoke about the possibility of Ocean’s 14 being made, given the success of F1.)
The issue is that I might need to collaborate with Clooney, but for my health, I’ve made a vow not to do so. However, if this were to occur, there’s a script written by Mr. Clooney that I know is quite appealing.
E! News asked Pitt about the upcoming sequel, and he playfully implicated his friend George Clooney. Pitt claimed he had stopped working with him due to health concerns, but then he admitted that there really is a script for the movie, which he described as “very appealing.
It’s been established that there’s a screenplay for “Ocean’s 14”. When they were publicizing “Wolves”, a movie on Apple TV+ where they both acted last September, Clooney mentioned that they have a solid script and everyone involved is eager to proceed with it. Interestingly, he made this comment while standing next to Pitt, who playfully quipped that he liked it because “we kill someone you’ll find amusing”.
Simultaneously, there were whispers that director Edward Berger was attached to the project too, but since then, no solid information has surfaced. Given that Brad Pitt completed work on F1 in January and is now busy with its promotional tour, this delay might be related to his schedule.
Moreover, he’s slated to commence filming his “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” sequel with David Fincher towards the end of this year. This upcoming project has already secured the talents of Carla Gugino, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, as reported by Deadline. Furthermore, Pitt is scheduled to film “The Riders” with Edward Berger for A24 in early 2026, according to THR.
As a movie enthusiast, I’ve always felt that Brad Pitt and George Clooney share a special bond on-screen, and their shared passion for a project often results in them collaborating. History has proven this time and again, and I have no doubt they are making efforts to team up once more, given the enthusiasm they both showed about the script.
In the meantime, while we eagerly await news about Ocean’s 14, you can catch Brad Pitt in top gear as a racing legend in F1 when it hits cinemas on June 27.
