Alia Bhatt BREAKS SILENCE on Jigra’s box-office debacle; ‘I don’t think I’m ever comfortable…’

In simpler terms, Alia Bhatt appeared in Vasan Bala’s prison-break movie titled Jigra, alongside Vedang Raina. The film had high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn’t do well at the theater. More recently, Alia spoke up for the first time about the film’s disappointing performance.

In a recent chat with Jay Shetty, Alia Bhatt revealed her ongoing professional aspirations. When asked about her dreams, she confessed her strong enthusiasm for her roles as an actress and producer. She expressed that the ambition connected to her work is unending.

She shared, “I’m not often at ease, but I find that an appealing quality of my mind. Last year, a movie I produced didn’t perform exceptionally well, which has actually sparked a renewed determination in me for a fresh ambition. It’s something that ignites a sense of excitement within me. So, that’s the professional aspiration I am pursuing.

Besides sharing this, she additionally disclosed her private aspirations and targets for the current year. Her wish is to savor numerous instances with her family and daughter during this time, along with expressing her longing for a personal getaway.

Previously, Director Vasan Bala discussed the film’s failure at the cinema ticket sales during an interview with Fever FM. He admitted that it was his duty to ensure success at the box office and highlighted the importance of determining where things went awry.

He stated, “There seems to be a situation that calls for an analysis. Don’t you think something unusual has occurred? Something like people avoiding certain places, refraining from purchasing goods, and choosing not to visit theaters. If another actor were to invest their time, then it’s crucial to ensure that investment is worthwhile.

Last October, Alia Bhatt’s movie “Jigra” was launched. Moving forward, you can catch her acting alongside Sharvari in the upcoming film titled “Alpha.” This movie is directed by Shiv Rawail and marks the debut of a female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe. Notable actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol will also be playing significant roles. Excitingly, this highly anticipated film is set to hit theaters on Christmas 2025.

Next on her list is the film “Love & War” by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she will be working with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
