The esteemed Kapoor family from Bollywood, known as one of the most influential families in the movie world, are preparing for the centenary celebration of veteran actor Raj Kapoor. Lately, members of the Kapoor lineage such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor, and others were spotted having an uncommon conversation on their journey to the Prime Minister’s residence.
As an ardent admirer counting down the days till December 14, 2024 – Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday – I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Raj Kapoor Film Festival! This momentous occasion is set to honor his immeasurable impact on Indian cinema. In anticipation of this grand celebration, my family and I made a historic journey to Delhi, where we humbly extended an invitation to none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, in hopes that he’ll join us in honoring the legacy of our beloved Raj Kapoor.
A recent video by the paparazzi captured them as they traveled, accompanied by security and press personnel. In the footage, Alia Bhatt exuded grace in a vibrant red saree, accentuated only by subtle makeup and her hair pulled back into a neat bun. The video showed her chatting animatedly with Karisma Kapoor, who donned a white and gold ethnic outfit and wore her hair freely loose.
Simultaneously, Neetu Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan joined them in the discussion, adding an unusual charm to the scene. As the Kapoor family came together for this significant event, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were nearby before moving on. The actor from Animal looked dapper in a black bandhgala, Saif donned a jacket with kurta pajama, and Kareena chose a vibrant red salwar kameez for the special gathering.
Back in 2024, as a die-hard fan of the legendary Raj Kapoor, I can hardly contain my excitement! According to earlier reports by PTI, a special RK Film Festival is being organized from December 13 to 15. This incredible event will see the timeless classics of Raj Kapoor gracing screens across 101 theaters in 34 cities!
For those who may not know, Raj Kapoor was famously known as the “Cinematic Showman of India” and delivered some unforgettable acts in movies such as Awara, Shree 420, Sangam, and Mera Naam Joker.
