Alpha: Hrithik Roshan to make cameo as War’s Kabir in Alia Bhatt, Sharvari’s spy universe film? Here’s what we know

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in Bollywood and cinema, I must admit that these crossovers are indeed a refreshing twist in Hindi cinema. They add an element of excitement for fans who enjoy seeing their favorite characters interact on-screen, and they also provide a sense of continuity within the YRF universe.

The upcoming movie by Yash Raj Films, titled Alpha, is now being filmed with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the main roles. Details about the storyline are still under wraps, but there’s buzz about an exciting guest appearance. According to a Dainik Bhaskar article, Hrithik Roshan may make a special appearance in YRF’s inaugural female spy universe. The character he portrayed in War, Kabir (who is also part of the YRF universe), will be seen as Alia Bhatt’s mentor in this film.

In the realm of YRF’s spy world, this isn’t a new occurrence. Previously, Salman Khan’s Tiger character graced Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan with a memorable appearance. More recently, Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya character popped up in Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2. Upcoming is Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, where characters from his cop universe, such as Akshay Kumar from Suryavanshi and Ranveer Singh from Simmba, will make stylish entrances.

In an exclusive chat with TopMob, Sharvari shared that her co-star John Abraham guided her for the film ‘Alpha’. She expressed, “I believe no one excels more in action than John. Therefore, learning from him has been a valuable experience for me. I’ve been observing John perform daily, attempting to absorb his techniques. He is quite enthusiastic about ‘Alpha’.”

Regarding their professional endeavors, Hrithik Roshan is said to be preparing for a repeat of his Kabir role in War 2, while Alia Bhatt has Jigra lined up after Alpha. This upcoming movie, a slice-of-life film co-starring Vedang Raina, is set to be released on the big screen on October 11, 2024.
