As a long-time subscriber of both Apple and Amazon services, I can’t help but feel like I’ve just won the lottery of streaming content! This collaboration between Apple TV+ and Amazon’s Prime Video Channels is music to my ears. I’ve always juggled multiple subscriptions to access all my favorite shows, but now it seems like the streaming giants are starting to play nicely together.
In an unexpected turn of events, Apple and Amazon have reached an agreement, allowing Apple TV+’s streaming service to be accessible through Amazon’s Prime Video Channels.
The agreement means that Apple TV+ will become an additional option for users who already have a Prime Video subscription, joining other streaming platforms such as Max, Paramount+, AMC+, and Starz in this service.
Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video, unveiled the agreement during the Bloomberg Screentime Conference on Wednesday night.
More to come.
