Josh Brolin Won’t Play Hal Jordan In The Green Lantern Series After All, But I Still Want Him To Get Some DC Redemption

One of the upcoming television series set within the new DC Universe shared universe is centered around Lanterns, featuring Green Lantern Corps members Hal Jordan and John Stewart who find themselves embroiled in a sinister mystery on American soil when they investigate a murder in the heartland. It was recently speculated that Josh Brolin might portray Hal in this Green Lantern series, but it appears he won’t be taking on the role. Now, this show is set to air first on HBO before becoming available for streaming with a Max subscription.

This massive outdoor public art display, known as “The Great Elephant Migration,” features 100 life-sized pieces carefully created by 200 Indigenous artists over the past five years. Some are comparing this event to Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s “The Gates” in 2005, which was another significant public art intervention in New York City.
