Bamford Watch Department Reunites With Franck Muller for a New Snoopy Crazy Hours

As a seasoned gamer and collector of unique timepieces, the latest collaboration between Bamford Watch Department and Franck Muller, the “Crazy Love” Crazy Hours Limited Edition, has truly caught my attention. With its playful take on the iconic Peanuts characters, Snoopy and Woodstock, it’s a refreshing twist in the world of luxury watches.

The Bamford Watch Department collaborated with Franck Muller on a fresh take of the Crazy Hours watch, featuring characters Snoopy and Woodstock. This unique piece is called “Crazy Love.

In the year 2021, they introduced a limited edition of 25 pieces, where the dial showcased Snoopy, and his paws acted as both hour and minute hands. Similar to their previous collaboration, “Crazy Love” is also available in a single-toned color palette.

This updated version of the watch stands out from the previous one due to a color swap: Snoopy is now represented in black, while his figure’s outline has been changed to white. Meanwhile, Woodstock can be found above the one o’clock mark, accompanied by a speech bubble shaped like a heart floating above him. In the dark, this watch’s special feature, the heart motif, will illuminate, fittingly highlighting its name.

From a technical standpoint, this new watch carries on the legacy of its predecessor, featuring the iconic Cintrée Curvex case, now black PVD coated, and adorned with intricate hand-guilloched dials. The strap is expertly hand-stitched suede for a luxurious feel. Powering it is the MVD 2800-CHR bi-directional automatic movement, offering a power reserve of 42 hours. As a fan, I’m thrilled to see such a faithful yet refined continuation of its heritage!

The “Crazy Love” Crazy Hours Limited Edition, a run of 50 pieces, is now up for grabs. You can place your order through Bamford Watch Department’s online store or at certain Franck Muller boutiques worldwide. The price tag? A cool £28,800 GBP (approximately $37,367 USD).
