Over time, Bravo’s Real Housewives series (available for streaming with a Peacock subscription) has skyrocketed in popularity. Some of these shows rank among the greatest reality shows ever made, offering viewers a glimpse into the complex friendships of women from a particular age bracket and social standing. Interestingly enough, it appears that actor/director Ben Stiller is one such fan, as he recently shared his thoughts on the conflict between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley on RHOBH.
Approximately a month ago, during the promotion of “Severance” Season 2 (available for streaming with an AppleTV+ subscription), Ben Stiller mentioned to Bravo’s Andy Cohen that he keeps up with “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” even praising the show’s editing. This week, his fandom was evident on Twitter as he responded to Kyle and Dorit finally having a meaningful conversation in the most recent episode. As he posted:
Glad to see Dorit and Kyle finally bonding through common challenges.#RHOBHFebruary 20, 2025
Essentially, Kyle and Dorit have generally stood together during their time on RHOBH, though there’s been some debate over the extent of their friendship. However, throughout Season 14, they’ve found themselves at odds in almost every episode. That changed in the latest episode, though.
The fireworks at Dorit’s Fourth of July celebration were not limited to the sky, as she had a heated encounter with Sutton Stracke right off the bat. Even though many fans (like myself) were disappointed to see Dorit leave the party prematurely, it allowed for an intriguing conversation between Kyle and Dorit that brought a smile to Ben Stiller’s face. Fans went wild over Stiller’s tweet, with some reactions saying:
- Please try to enjoy all Housewives relationships equally. @BravoTV
- Yas king @BenStiller #rhobh @fearqueerhorror
- Mr. Stiller, your stock keeps rising by the day. A Housewives fan? I stan. But now I need to know who your top 3 housewives are. @MissSassbox
- Who is this Diva? @jendotlove
- OMG WELCOME TO BRAVO TWITTER! @GirlsLoveBravo
Initially, Kyle and Dorit got into another argument, but then they stopped and decided to talk somewhere private instead. They discussed their respective separations and the shared experiences they have in that area. It was heartwarming to see them find common ground, which is why Stiller might have felt compelled to comment on it.

In a unique and famous setting for the franchise, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” offers an aspirational backdrop due to the wealth of its cast members. Now that the character from “Zoolander” has resurfaced and is engaging with new episodes on social media, it would be fascinating to watch him explore different cities and expand his horizons.
It seems to me that Ben Stiller might find it intriguing to explore “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” given its high-quality and consistently entertaining nature. Each season surpasses the last in terms of entertainment value, featuring exciting events like Sprinter Van arguments, Jen Shah’s arrest and conviction, and the Reality Von Tease unveiling. The show feels like the elite team of the franchise, with a cast that is genuinely hilarious. Being a storyteller himself, I believe he would find the unfolding dynamics fascinating. For now, it appears that he will be watching Bravo when new episodes of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” air on Tuesdays as part of the 2025 TV schedule.
