As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for both digital and streetwear culture, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the return of the Brain Dead x Converse “What The” Chuck 70s. My gaming avatar might be battling it out in virtual worlds, but my sneaker collection is a testament to my real-life adventures and experiences.
Product Name: Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70
The iconic 2018 collaboration between Brain Dead and Converse, the “What The” Chuck 70, is scheduled for a re-release. This revamped version features a creative twist on the original design, where the classic Chuck Taylor silhouette is given a fresh update with an eclectic mix of vibrant patterns on the upper portion.
As a devoted admirer, I’d say this unique duo blends striking animal patterns like zebra and leopard, nostalgic camouflage, and iconic American flag motifs onto the distinctive Chuck 70 canvas uppers. The left shoe showcases a zebra pattern on its outer side, camouflage on the inner, with stripes of red and white adorning the heel. The right shoe flaunts a leopard print on its outer side, while the medial sports a navy blue backdrop dotted with white stars, and a giraffe print graces the heel strip.
On each side of both shoes, there’s a rubber emblem from Brain Dead brand, while the inner sides sport the well-known Converse All-Star logo. The midsection is accentuated with a line of sans serif text and lastly, subtle logos are printed on the insoles.
On November 7, you can get hold of the newly launched Brain Dead x Converse “What The” Chuck 70s through Converse’s online store and selected retail outlets.
