C.P. Company x adidas Continue To Celebrate the SPZL’s Anniversary with Full Collaborative Capsule

As a longtime fan of both Adidas and C.P. Company, I must say that this collaboration has truly hit the sweet spot for me. With my extensive collection of sneakers and apparel from both brands, I have witnessed the evolution of their individual styles over the years, and now to see them come together in such a harmonious blend is nothing short of exhilarating!

A week ago, we got a sneak peek at six distinctive Adidas SPZL shapes. Now, C.P. Company in partnership with Adidas Originals has unveiled an entire collaborative clothing collection to celebrate the SPZL’s 10th anniversary. The lookbook is spearheaded by Ashley Walters, Stephen Graham, Goldie, Robert Brooks, and Toby Mclellan. This experienced team of collaborators have delivered a more comprehensive co-branded offering, which includes apparel, accessories, and the new footwear, in addition to the clothing line.

Leading the shoe charge is the CP Wimberly SPZL, modeled after a scarcely found perforated Canadian variant of the 1980s Adidas Universal. It will be available in two distinct types of materials – leather and suede.

Drawing inspiration from the adidas Nepal, the CP Helvellyn SPZL adopts a strategic design, featuring mesh linings, a gusseted tongue, metal D-rings with a gunmetal finish, and outdoor leather lining for durability. On the other hand, the CP SL 83 SPZL builds upon the philosophy of the adidas SL 82, enhanced by its reinforced T-toe and a blend of various materials.

Completing the collection are two classic shoe designs reintroduced from their initial collaboration in 2021: the refined CP Italia SPZL, now crafted in premium leather, and the modernized CP Manchester SPZL featuring fresh eyelets and zig-zag stitching.

Regarding the apparel choices, C.P. Company’s designs are expanded and reinvented using adidas’ perspective, showcasing striking shapes such as the CP SPZL Puffer Jacket and the CP SPZL Flying Jacket. Notable features include front pockets and embroidered patches on every piece, enhanced with additional detachable branding elements. The collection also includes an accessory line featuring a side bag, two caps, and a pair of gloves.
