As a seasoned Black Ops Zombies survivor with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the Hacking Device is the unsung hero of our undead escapades. This gadget has saved me from more tight spots than I care to remember and opened up paths where there once seemed to be none.
In the thrilling world of Black Ops 6 Zombies, I can’t imagine my gaming experience without the trusty Hacking Device at my side. This nifty tool is a lifesaver when it comes to uncovering secret paths, solving intricate puzzles, completing quests, and discovering hidden objectives – particularly during those nerve-wracking Easter Egg missions!
You might have figured it out, but let me clarify: The Hacking Tool is a potent instrument engineered for breaking into secure locations and altering crucial systems marked on the map. Here’s a guide on how to acquire and utilize one:
How to Get the Hacking Device in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Before you can get the Hacking Device, you’ll need to collect the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon.
There are two ways to obtain this item: either by randomly drawing it from the Mysterious Chest or by assembling it using certain materials. After obtaining it, make your way to any of the Tentacle Pitfalls scattered throughout the Bio Laboratory.
As a fan, I often find myself in a pickle when exploring areas close to Speed Cola or PhD Flopper. When I stumble upon one of those pesky traps, I make sure to use my Beamsmasher’s default attack to give it a good jolt, causing a Hard Drive to drop from its writhing tentacles. Quite the thrill, if you ask me!
1st Attempt at getting the Hard Drive may not be successful. Keep trying at various Tentacle Trap locations until it becomes available. After obtaining the Hard Drive, locate Peck at the Guard Station.
Head to the Guard Station’s Dropbox location, then proceed to upload or transfer the Hard Drive there. Doing so will initiate a chain of occurrences resulting in the issuance of the Terminus Keycard.
After getting hold of the keycard, utilize it to gain entry into the Node Connectors, which are crucial for fixing leaking pipes scattered throughout the map.
Navigate towards the marked location on your map, which often features a submerged vessel. This spot is commonly found close to the coordinates C6.
In the interior, there’s a ladder leading up to a workroom housing the initial Node Connector on a nearby table. Grabbing this Node Connector initiates a security lockdown, prepare yourself as you’ll face waves of undead assaults.
Given that moving with the connector may hinder your speed, try positioning yourself so you can swiftly retreat if you find yourself cornered.
Following your successful passage through the initial lockdown and acquisition of the first Node Connector, you’ll need to set it up at a malfunctioning pipe shown on the map.
Though every pipe has its spot, you can go to whichever is nearest:
- Pipe Location 1: Head to the docks area near the Deadshot Daquiri machine, located around coordinates F6. This pipe is located near the shore of an island and is usually easy to spot from the main path. Check for signs of damage or wear in the piping structures along the shore. These indicators will confirm it as a valid repair location.
- Pipe Location 2: Look for the second pipe in the tunnels by Speed Cola, typically around the E5 coordinates. This area has narrow pathways, which can make maneuvering difficult. Take it slow to avoid being trapped by zombies in cramped quarters while carrying the Node Connector.
- Pipe Location 3: You can find the third pipe near the coast on the main island, around D7. You’ll spot it by the water, usually showing some wear and tear. If the pipes at the other locations are connected, you’ll want to attach the connector here instead.
Once you’ve fixed the pipes, head back to the Guard Station and interact with Peck’s Dropbox once more. This occasion, he’ll offer you a Hacking Tool for your use.
For the upcoming stage, you’ll find it useful to have this gadget as it assists in identifying crucial locations on the map, particularly the buoys situated in the water.
How to Use the Hacking Device in Black Ops 6 Zombies
To use the Hacking Device, navigate to three buoys in the surrounding sea.
Each buoy is uniquely positioned and marked by flying Parasite enemies, so they should be easy to spot. Start by securing a boat, usually found near the docks, so you can easily hit up each buoy.
When you arrive at the buoy, activate it to trigger the hacking sequence. This sets off a timer counting down for two minutes.
As soon as you successfully hack the initial marker, the timer starts ticking. You’ll then need to follow a path moving in a direction opposite to clock hands (counterclockwise) along the coastline to find and hack the next two markers before the time expires.
If the countdown ends while you haven’t completed hacking all three buoys, you’ll need to restart the process.
In Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ve got the chance to obtain and employ the Hacking Device. So, what strategies do you adopt to shield yourself when utilizing this device? Please share your thoughts in the comments section!
