Chinese Action RPG Where Winds Meet Finally Gets Global Release Date and Beta Test Details

Beyond games like “Black Myth: Wukong” from 2024 and “Phantom Blade Zero” yet to come, “Where Winds Meet” is another highly anticipated release from China’s gaming industry. First unveiled in 2022, it has generated a lot of buzz. The game narrates the journey of a young martial artist traversing an expansive open-world map depicting 10th-century China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era. Role-playing and action-adventure elements are combined, with a focus on combat inspired by traditional Chinese martial arts. In December 2024, “Where Winds Meet” was exclusively launched on PC in China, followed by its mobile release in the same region in January. The developers have now disclosed their plans for the historical title’s global launch.

Pokémon Go gets ready for the debut of Applin and Dynamax Entei later this month

The event “Sweet Discoveries” takes place from April 24th to 29th, showcasing the small Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon called Applin. To catch one is just the start – you’ll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples to evolve it. Tart Apples will result in Flapple, while Sweet Apples will lead to Appletun. You can find apples randomly in the wild (particularly near Mossy Lures), and they might even trigger encounters with Applin themselves.
