For years, EA inflated Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the upper echelons of football (soccer – this is about NBA now), only for him to be a bit slugging in-game with little movement. This torch was soon passed to Harry Kane, who sat at 90 rated in FC 25 but sucked in-game.
Back in 2023, we got a glimpse of Dunk City Dynasty, the first NBPA-licensed street basketball game, and now, the exciting news is that it’s coming our way in 2025! It feels like this game has either risen from the ashes or has been perfecting its moves behind closed doors. Either way, I can hardly wait to step onto the court with this long-awaited title!
1. We can’t seem to tire of Fortnite’s Marvel partnerships, and even though we keep hoping for a DC season at some point, we’re quite content immersed in the comic book turmoil of the Avengers. The forthcoming Chapter 5 Season 4 aims to surpass the adored Chapter 2 Season 4 as one of the greatest seasons yet, and given its promising appearance, it seems destined for success.
As a dedicated strategy gamer, I can’t help but notice that as games grow in scale, managing all factions fairly becomes quite a task. Speaking from my experience with Total War, it’s refreshing to see that the devoted fans of The Battle of Polytopia are finally getting some long-overdue attention. The developers have announced a significant overhaul for the Aquarion tribe, bringing a sweet taste of rework to the game.
In an exciting update, Marvel Contest of Champions by Kabam – a popular action RPG based on Marvel characters – is introducing its last Deathless champion. Fans of She-Hulk, the jovial green powerhouse, will be thrilled as this new character leaves behind her humor and delivers raw power instead.
