Interestingly, FromSoftware drew partial inspiration from fan-made videos and mods of Elden Ring to breathe life into “Nightreign.” Despite the reuse of existing assets, this game promises to stand out as its unique self.

The unusual nature of “Nightreign” might not become a new standard for FromSoftware’s future projects, but one element inspired by a popular Elden Ring mod deserves to endure, given that this mod has evolved into a series of its own.
