It appears that Nintendo might have been influenced by the upgrade strategy used by PlayStation, allowing players to enhance PS4 games into their enhanced PS5 versions – offering better graphics and speed – for a modest additional cost.
Among the initial releases are classics like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, and Soulcalibur II – the renowned 3D fighter from Bandai Namco where Link is also a selectable character.
In the upcoming release of Nintendo’s latest console, the trio – Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly – will acquire the Amiibo figures. Currently, only three Amiibo figures have been announced, but there are expected to be 22 cards in total, possibly showcasing the entire roster. Highlighting some of the game’s fresh faces, who boast a dedicated fanbase, seems fitting as they are newcomers.
Strauss Zelnick from Take-Two Interactive mentioned that he’d been keeping the launch date under wraps because of the enormous excitement surrounding GTA 6. He stated that he hadn’t witnessed such a massive level of anticipation for any other games. Consequently, he wished to protect the release date in order to maintain fans’ eagerness at an optimum level.
Hidetaka Miyazaki, who is known for directing hit games such as Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, steps forward once again to lead The Duskbloods’ development team. He assures fans that they can expect a new yet recognizable adventure in the Soulslike genre.
