Fortunately, developer Warhorse Studios plans to add a challenging “Hardcore Mode” within the next month, offering players a wide range of disadvantageous attributes to select from and reducing the guidance provided when exploring the Kingdom of Bohemia. Instead of relying on a compass and map, you’ll need to ask for directions and possibly even use stars as your navigation tools.
Once you reach the midway point of the story and unlock the second region, Kuttenberg, the world expands even further, offering twice the space to explore and even more people in need of help. One of the earliest side quests you can pick up in this new area is the White Roebuck quest.
