Based on today’s Monster Hunter showcase, Update Title 1 will be available on April 4th, this Friday. The highlight of this update is the debut of Mizutsune, a water monster that was initially introduced in the 2016 game for Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter Generations.
Lagiacrus is finally returning to Monster Hunter.
Before Monster Hunter Wilds officially launched, there was plenty of chatter among fans about the beloved monster, Lagiacrus. Regrettably, it wasn’t present in the main game at first, causing quite a stir among players. However, with new information emerging, it seems that Lagiacrus might not be just a myth in Wilds after all. In fact, the developers have hinted at its existence in their recent showcase and have even offered a tentative schedule for when we can expect to hunt this monster.
As per a report by Insider Gaming, the three-stage rollout is planned with significant game launches slated for June in the initial stage, followed by either October or November in the second stage, and the holiday season for the final phase. Although no specific games were disclosed for this release window, it was hinted that the first phase could potentially include Nintendo-published games and the second phase might be rich with releases from third-party developers.
In every quest, this Leviathan is expected to significantly up the ante, offering a tougher fight for players seeking a more demanding combat encounter. Yet, there’s buzz among fans that it might be a fresh raid boss, much like Monster Hunter World introduced Safi’Jiva and Alatreon.
