Few creatives in Hollywood or otherwise get to work on the same projects for prolonged periods, but The Simpsons is an exception. For over three decades, this iconic sitcom has kept its cast and team engaged with no signs of slowing down. As a long-term writer and executive producer like Matt Selman can attest, The Simpsons has been celebrated in numerous ways through merchandise, TV specials, and even questionable tattoos. Selman recently shared an amusing anecdote about a particularly hilarious episode of The Simpsons that he found more entertaining than watching childbirth. Bravo!

Universal’s “Twisters,” an impressive follow-up to the previous hit “Twister,” is a quintessential summer blockbuster. Debuting with substantial box office revenue and boasting a favorable critical rating of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, this movie is undeniably successful. The duo of Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell contributes to its appeal, but the real magic lies in the exhilarating action sequences. To achieve authentic tornado depictions, the production team collaborated with Sean Waugh at the National Severe Storm Laboratory (NSSL).

In simple terms, the popular Bel-Air series will be back on Peacock starting August for its third season. A new trailer has been released, announcing the return of yet another beloved character from the original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air show. Originally inspired by Will Smith’s sitcom that aired from 1990 to 1996, Bel-Air is a modern retelling with a dramatic twist, created by Morgan Cooper based on his 2019 short film. Peacock acquired the rights in 2020 and premiered the new adaptation in 2022.

In the latest installment of “House of the Dragon,” titled “Smallfolk,” an unexpected appearance by a beloved character from the show graced our screens. Fans were taken aback — and it was none other than the wise and just King Viserys I Targaryen, played by Paddy Considine. Although we didn’t get the comeback we hoped for, it was still a treat to see him don his iconic crown during a brief scene where he offers guidance to his unstable brother Daemon.

At Sidecar Gallery, the thought-provoking group exhibition named “There is Feeling” unfolds. Sydney Acosta, Adrian Culverson, Catherine Fairbanks, Christopher Paul Jordan, Hea-Mi Kim, Kristy Luck, Roni Shneior, and Tran Truong are among the artists showcased in this event. Curated by Eve Fowler and Artist Curated Projects (ACP), this exhibition explores the emotional depth of the night.
