One interesting fact to note about “Shifting Gears” if you haven’t watched it yet is that its long-time comedian, Matt, owns an auto body shop specializing in restoring and performing body work on classic cars. Tim Allen mentioned that some of his own vehicles were utilized in the show. What I find intriguing about this top-rated new comedy airing this television season is how seamlessly Matt’s personal taste in cars carries over to his home decor.

According to the current rankings, the “Final Destination” franchise dominates the Top 10 movie chart, with the initial 2000 film placed at the fourth spot, followed by “Final Destination 2” at sixth, “Final Destination 3” at ninth, and “Final Destination 5” at tenth. Noticeably missing is “The Final Destination,” but as the week unfolds, it’s likely to appear on the chart. It’s not surprising given that after a 14-year hiatus, horror enthusiasts are excitedly anticipating either watching the series for the first time or revisiting it before “Bloodlines” premieres in theaters on May 16.

The central part of this poster showcases a quote from one of Theo James’ roles, which reads, “The monkey that enjoys slaughtering our family… It’s returned.” The striking design for Schrader’s film, ‘Hardcore’, also includes a quote related to the main character’s daughter. Both posters prominently display the film’s primary actor in the lower right area. This thoughtful nod cleverly highlights the shared aesthetics and themes between ‘The Monkey’ and the exploitative films of the 1970s.

In a new development, Jeff Frost, who previously led Sony Pictures Television Studios as President, is taking charge of the Dorothea Puente project in his role as executive producer via his production company Bristol Circle Entertainment. Joshua Michael Stern will take on the role of showrunner and also serve as an executive producer, while Rosenbaum and Jane Whitney will assume duties as writers and EPs (Executive Producers). It’s worth noting that Rosenbaum played the best friend of Clark Kent for seven seasons on the popular series Smallville, aired on WB and CW networks.
