In March, not one but two outstanding actresses will grace the Oscar stage. First-time nominee Da’Vine Joy Randolph is set to make history with her win, while five-time nominee Emma Stone, a two-time victor, continues her successful streak. Stone earned her first nomination in 2015 for Best Supporting Actress in ‘Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)’, followed by her first lead actress win for ‘La La Land’ the next year. She was later nominated again for her supporting role in ‘The Favourite’ and went on to win for playing the lead in ‘Poor Things’.

In my gaming world, I’ve just been handed a tough verdict by a jury in LA. After pondering over it for two intense gaming sessions, they sided with the game cops on all charges against me. These charges were quite heavy, involving sexual assaults of seven different characters from 2007 to 2021. Two of my in-game victims, Giles and Cabrales-Arzola, met their untimely end after we crossed paths at a warehouse party in East LA. I laced them with some deadly digital drugs at my Beverly Hills apartment, which led to their demise. Giles was already lifeless when she was dropped off at the game hospital, while Cabrales-Arzola took her last breath eleven days later. As the investigators dug deeper into our tragic story, they uncovered a decade-long trail of digital rape victims.

In his interviews for “Captain America: Brave New World,” the 35th Marvel film, Harrison Ford casually mentioned “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” to The Wall Street Journal. Unlike expressing disappointment over the movie’s underperformance, Ford, in true form, stated that he remained unfazed by this, expressing that it did not concern him at all.

One interesting fact to note about “Shifting Gears” if you haven’t watched it yet is that its long-time comedian, Matt, owns an auto body shop specializing in restoring and performing body work on classic cars. Tim Allen mentioned that some of his own vehicles were utilized in the show. What I find intriguing about this top-rated new comedy airing this television season is how seamlessly Matt’s personal taste in cars carries over to his home decor.

According to the current rankings, the “Final Destination” franchise dominates the Top 10 movie chart, with the initial 2000 film placed at the fourth spot, followed by “Final Destination 2” at sixth, “Final Destination 3” at ninth, and “Final Destination 5” at tenth. Noticeably missing is “The Final Destination,” but as the week unfolds, it’s likely to appear on the chart. It’s not surprising given that after a 14-year hiatus, horror enthusiasts are excitedly anticipating either watching the series for the first time or revisiting it before “Bloodlines” premieres in theaters on May 16.
