‘Kinda Pregnant’ Review: Amy Schumer’s Netflix Comedy Is Kinda Dull

Since Lainy Newton (Schumer) can recall, her dream has always been to become a mother. The story opens with a young Lainy (Jayne Sowers), playing out a birth scenario with her friend Kate (Julianna Layne). Both girls share the silent sorrow of losing their mothers, and they act out their parts: Lainy as the expectant mother cursing, and Kate as the supportive friend or perhaps the doctor, urging “Push!” Despite the fact that Kate dislikes this game each day and is unsure about her desire to be a mother, she humors Lainy, who views having a child as one of life’s most significant accomplishments.

With Jordan Brand consistently broadening its product range, silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 4 RM are witnessing multiple updates. The latest edition comes in a “Dark Mocha” colorway that seems to draw inspiration from Travis Scott’s collaboration with Air Jordan 1 Low. The upper is made of premium leather and a mudguard, while the dark mocha suede covers the toe box, midfoot panel, and heel. White TPU cage frames provide contrast, yet the mocha theme extends to the tongue and mesh sockliner for added texture. Completing the design, the shoe rests on a two-tone cream and brown midsole and a dark mocha outsole.

In this sixth installment of the horror series, which was written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans, Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein team up as co-directors. The eerie preview begins with a tattoo artist performing a painful tongue piercing on a client, only to then administer a tattoo to himself. Unbeknownst to him, a chain of events has been set in motion, ultimately leading to his unexpected demise. A chain appears to be attached to the ceiling fan and his nose ring, causing the fan to spin as the chain tightens around it and lifts him off the ground by the nose. This violent action triggers a fire that catches him and sends him spiraling into the flames.
