As a dedicated gamer of Law & Order, I was taken aback when I heard that the Season 23 finale marked Camryn Manheim’s last appearance as Lieutenant Kate Dixon. The episode didn’t provide much closure for her character, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for something thrilling coming up in the fall of 2024. Why, you ask? Well, it turns out that a familiar face from my old favorite NBC show, ER, is joining the Law & Order family! Maura Tierney, who used to save lives on ER with her stethoscope, will now be donning a badge and delving into the criminal world of Dick Wolf’s nine-show universe. I can hardly wait for this exciting new addition!
